EPISODE 3 .

People came to seek ozila's blessing everymorning. the life of the villagers changed and luckily for ozila all his miracles worked,. the village thug leader named salem also changed, it was a big suprise to everybody but who will want to be publicly punished by GOD, the embarrassment and shame is just too much.
After the debate between the twins and the reverend with his companions, they gave each other space. the reverend at first kept preaching about GOD and christianity but after he spoke to tino he began thinking about the words ownet and ozila has said earlier. 'how am i suposed to keep preaching for the people when everythin is visible to them, even when they believe that young man is GOD, the boy made it in such a way that people dont worship him rather he makes people worship the true GOD.'the reverend thought withinhimself till annabel voice disengage his thoughts. "sir, what are we supposed to do now, everybody believes heis GOD, how can we make the people believe he is not true GOD,'annabel said with a worried look. the reverend calmed her down and told her he will pay the twins a visit. he was still talking when the village doctor came in . he greeted the reverend and annabel.
the reverend began " thank GOD you are here, the boy who proclaim himself as GOD, he made a point yesterday and it got me dissappointed ar you but first let me ask before judging you, is it true there was a time you took a patient to the herbalist?, ............ "sir yes its true but i had a good reason, the patient came from a distant village, his legs were becoming rotten and he was dying slowly, his ailment got me confused because it was the first time am seeing something like that, my mind told me it was not ordinary so i asked his mun to let me know the reason behind his ailment. i was told the man wanted to marry a lady whom refused to marry him so out of desperation he made a deal with a gods who gave him an eternal love portion in exchange for the girls dignity. the gods made it clear that they will be the one sleeping with the girl while he marries her. it turned out that after some years , the man needed a child but he couldnt have sex with his wife or marry another lady so after a while the man couldnt hold it, he cheated with a lady and at the sametime got his wife pregnant, the gods became angry , i was told his wife met a man of GOD who helped her but the guy couldnt find a solution, the only solution was for him to sleep in a cave for 1month but the man said he wouldnt do it. he travelled here and still got punished by the gods so after hearin his poor mother narrate this story to me i took the man to his village and met the herbalist who helped him locate the cave and he paid the gods. ,' the village doctor finally concluded. 'but brother moses it was not right, you doubted GOD by believing in that gods. GOD is the one whom cures so why ascribe his powers to a mere thing,' the reverend said. ............'but father even the bible says "give to caesar what belongs to caesar, the man shouldnt have made the deal but since he made it, its fair he face the consequences,' the village doctor replied again.
......... the reverend hummed as he tried thinking about what brother moses has just said. "you are right in your own prospective, you would have done better by fighting the gods with christ. anyways am of to see the twins brothers" the reverend said and stood up but joan joined him and they left.

mr lawrence pains has stopped some days ago but he still keeps faking it. ever since ozila made his legs dissapeared he hardly allow people to see him. he called one of his slave and asked him to go and call the wood doctor. in no time his leg was replaced with woods but he covered it with clothes so that nobody will know.
on this faithful day he summoned 10 of his slave and told the they will follow him to pa kenneths farm in the midnight. 'its time to confirm what those brothers have really been trying to do,'mr lawrence said and laughed in a wicked tone.

the reverend was lucky to meet the brothers at home, but they were talking to many people. its like they were giving lecture on what GOD wants. ownet was the one talkin and he always make reference to ozila their GOD. the reverend could see how people listened attentively, then he began to realise that the villagers were showing lots of concentration because they can see the GOD ownet was talking about. joan on the other hand was very angry, she couldnt accept the fact that these brothers were doing something wrong and making people believe its right. they waited patiently till the brothers were through and the villagers were gone.
. 'good day reverend, you are welcome, we were not expecting to see you here today so what brings you here?; ownet asked.
... 'you guys know what you are doing is very wrong, after listening to you guys preach, you know there is GOD but why are you proclaiming yourself as GOD when you are not?; joan asked avoiding the reverend eyes.
........." ok young lady, we have discussed this last time didnt we, there are some certain thing you are doing that if GOD should be right here with you, you wouldnt try it or think of it, they worship us and we give the overall praise to GOD ok, sit down and have a good thinking about it, or while going back stop a guy and try bringing up a vonversation with him, he wouldnt feel at is because he knows am watching him, thats the fear they have and they only have fear for the GOD they can see,'ownet replied.
. 'but i come with a new observation, taking of alcohol is not allowed,even the muslims support this motion and not all of should be eaten,' the reverend said...........
..................'well about that, there is nothing wrong with it, GOD only said alcohol is bad because of it toxic nature, it was believed that when one take drugs you come in close contact with devil who will try pushing you away from GOD, sane thing with those food you talked about, we have implemented it that people should stop taking a toxic alcohol but even if they must take it, they must not be hindered by it. so once this measures have been taken its alright,'ozila replied himself.
the reverend was moved by this point again he decided to go and think about it well. while he was about leaving with joan, ozila walked up to the reverend and told him 'we are aware of your past too we are only keeping it because you changed, take care,' ozila said and waive them off. the reverend paused for a while and then he went off not believing the information ozila just whispered to him.

...... ozila and ownet dressed up and walked out of there house, it was already midnight but they went without light in other to avoid peoples attention, they had a special aim on pa kenneth's farm .
mr lawrence smiled as he saw the brothers from afar he alerted his slave and told them to be careful as they trailed behind the brothers.
'if they get a clue i will just kill them,' mr lawrence said and kept following their tracks.

EPISODE 2.
ozila(the new God) can from a dark shade and stood in the front of everybody, his shadows were ,9 and his space was very bright as a result of moons direct reflection. everybody began having double thoughts about God. many were trembling, ozila asked Ownet to wake Mr Lawrence and surprisingly he woke up. ozila legs were in the air, it never touched ground as he kept walking till he reached the midst of the audience, he asked everybody to stand up, at once everybody stood up, even the Reverend whom was hesitating also stood up without knowing it. ozila skin was glowing in his white dress, he began speaking : I am the God you all have been looking forward to have, God has entered my body and crowned me the new God all this while you people have been defying me its high time you stop it because anybody that commits a crime will be punished by me instantly and talking of punishment, tino come outside and you Emmanuel, you guys are making side comments while God is talking, you guys slept with two ladies earlier today also and I intended to start with you both, they both lie down and Ownet gave them 50strokes of cane each and they both promised not to try it again, after he was true with them he asked mr Lawrence to come forward, everybody was surprised because they don't believe he had done anything. ozila narrated how mr Lawrence planned the fake accident that claimed his soul, he also tell the people on how mr Lawrence planned to kill his brother Ownet by poisoning him. everybody shouted in dismay as mr Lawrence knelt down to beg God for mercy. ozila laughed and commanded that he should become paralyzed, instantly mr Lawrence leg dissapeared leaving everybody in shock the Reverend just stood in shock too he couldn't understand what's happening even he began to have doubt about his own God. ozila then told the villagers he will give them an opportunity to ask one question before they dismiss. nobody had the zeal to stand up but Joan wanted to ask a question unfortunately Ownet stood up first. 'please some people are confused here are you not supposed to be dead? how come you are proclaiming yourself as God.? . ozila replied' that's a good question, well you people used to say you can't believe in something that you can't, see,touch and feel, so there is nothing like death, I was never dead because death cannot be seen,touched,or felt, it can't even talk or walk.
this statement got the villagers confused as they so much want to ask about people that have died before but they couldn't because there were the same person that protested that since God can be seen it doesn't exist. Ownet was happy to see the confused faces. indeed his plan seems to be working out.
ozila later told the people that things he won't tolerate as God is the same things he and Ownet used to preach about but he reminded them that this time God won't only preach he will punishe anybody that defy him instantly.
The whole villagers dismissed as the all walked towards their different house leaving mr Lawrence in his accursed state. non of them even murmured as they were afraid of the new God and his punishment. after everybody was gone the Reverend and his two companion came to meet ozila.
'we believe God exist but you are not him. God is not a human and he doesn't live rather he gives life,'Annabel said first.
ozila smiled and replied 'I am God and you have nothing to think about it. I have the powers, you see Ownet told me about your God and I came to realise you guys are fake, you are not telling people to believe in God rather you want them to join your religion, can't people worship God without joining a religion.
'but its not our religion, this is God's religion and he owns it, however nobody can become a christian and not believe in God,' Joan said this time.
ozila replied again ', that's a falseinformation, based on my thinking there other religions, I had an encounter with a man that says he is a Muslim, he also says he worships God. even these people here worshiping gods they named their religion too so if there are so many religion how can you just proclaim yours as the only right way when their is only one God how can so many religion exist and you talked about the fact that one can't be a Christian and not believe in God. why don't you ask your village doctor why he took somebody to the village herbalist while the person was sick. is the village doctor not a Christian and how come the man was actually healed after meeting the herbalist. so if the herbalist was from another religion why does he posses such power its simply because we have one God.

the Reverend seem to shaken by ozila's intelligence but however he spoke too: I agree with some of your points but the fact that God is one doesn't means we should not worship him,the herbalist you talked about, he does things God doesn't want but the fact that God still help him doesn't means he should no longer worship God and talking about mark the village doctor, yes he was a Christian but he doesn't have faith, rather he was too haste not to wait for God that's why he did and we are sure God will forgive him if he repents.

ozila shook his head and replied the Reverend: God understands everything, nobody needs to be a Christian by name just to worship God, some people might even join a religion and still defy God so instead of telling them to join your religion why not say what God wants directly so the can worship God with heart and not just by bearing a name of people that worships God. fact is after comparing the Muslim man and you guys I think you people are using same points in a different way but a little sense need to be applied . instead of worshiping a religion let's worship God for religion and God are different words with different meanings. I am done with you guys. you may leave now ,' ozila told the Reverend who concurred and left but why he was leaving he saw Ownet whom whispered to him ' something's are meant for the eyes to see why some for the mind to believe but but the eyes can also make us believe the same way the mind helps us to see. this belongs to you doesn't mean I can't use it, the difference is when I use it I have stolen it. have a goodnight and a happy newReverend. think about it well, Ownet said and winked at Annabel whom took her eyes away as a result of shyness. after they had left Ownet and ozila went to check on mr Lawrence who was fast asleep.
they both left to plan next their move.

mr Lawrence opened his eyes a little after his slave told him the brothers have left. tears trickled down his cheek as he saw his legs were no more. he thought on the possible way the brothers might have know everything and how they perform those magics because unlike the rest people mr Lawrence can hardly be tricked he knows ozila is not God. intact he knows God exist but still yet he doesn't buy the idea of acknowledging it. he thought for a while and remembered something. the brothers never mentioned that he killed musa and buried his corpse at pa Kenneth's farm. if the brothers don't know this them their is something fishy here',mr Lawrence said and concluded. let them trick when they can still trick the battle line have just been drawn .

EPISODE 1.
Ownet body was seen at the bank of the river by some fishermen. one of them recognized him and they quickly went to save him. they applied something on his body and realised he is still breathing so they rushed him to their village doctor. the village doctor deals with herb so he gave Ownet some herbs to drink. Ownet was able to talk after some hours and the only words he uttered out is 'where is my brother'. the people instantly got the hint that both brothers were drowned so some people decided to go and look for him in the river they found Ownet. it was a long search that lasted for days but only his cloth was found at the top of the water. the villagers decided to believed that his corpse have been held captive by the water goddess.
mr Lawrence was angry to see Ownet alive, his aim was to kill both brothers to avoid them from preaching. he called musa the truck driver and asked how Ownet had survived the fatal accident.
'sir, I have no idea at all, I hit their car with full force and waited for their car to sink with them inside before I left, I was very surprised when I found out that one of the brothers are still alive,' musa replied.
mr Lawrence couldn't make the mistake, he was sure Ownet might decide to avenge his brothers death and he couldn't take chances since so he gripped musa's neck and choke him to death. he proceeded to bury him in PA Kenneth's farm.
mission accomplished he said to himself and decided to plan on how he will kill Ownet the survivor.

At the outskirt of the village, two young ladies probably 19 and 20 were accompanied by an old reverend in his late 70's got down from a bus. he asked for directions from a kid and they started walking toward the village doctors house. the strangers comes with the intend to spread the word of God and to transform the village into a Christian one. the kept trekking till they reached their destination. the village doctor was very much happy to see his fathers friend. he was aware they would come but he was surprised to see two young British women with the Reverend. he asked who they were and the reverend introduced them. the taller one goes by the name Annabel and the other was Joan by name.
the village doctor showed them their room and everything and allow them take some rest. he remembered he still had a patient with him so he went to check on him. 'Ownet am glad to inform you that you will bee discharged tomorrow, your are very well OK now,'..... thank you so much sir , seems you had a visitor right,' Ownet asked. the village doctor told him to rest as he will introduce them to him.

It was a bright sunny day. Ownet wore his cloths and prepared to live the doctors house. he remembered the two white ladies that were introduced to him. he almost turned deaf and dump when he saw them and their outrageous beauty with those melodious voice. he pinched himself away from his fantasy and went to greet them a goodbye. the Reverend saw it as a great opportunity to preach to young man. the Reverend was very much happy with the way Ownet listened to him that he decided to invite him to his new church in the village. I didn't tell you guys but the village doctor was a Christian and he has a church where he alone practice his Christianity. unknown to the Reverend Ownet was just showing respect he was not truly listening to his words.

Ownet left and went straight to a nearby forest where he planned to meet his brother. he kept walking inside till he was sure nobody could see them and he made a short whisper. in no time ozila joined him. they hugged each other and smiled. they did their plan and prayed to God to lead them true their plan. one confusing thing about this brothers is that they were neither a Christian or a Muslim but they don't worship gods either. but one sure thing the know is God exists.
after they were through with their planning they both parted.

Ownet went straight to mr Lawrence house and told him to organize a feast tonight as he had something important to say. 'hope you don't intend to start those your useless preachings about something that doesn't exist', mr Lawrence asked. ownet smiled and told him its another issue this time.
mr Lawrence sent his slaves to go and announce to everybody that he is organizing a new year's feast. in no time the information spread and everybody got to know about the feast, its a non miss feast for anybody that knew mr Lawrence way of doing celebration. surely their will be a lot to eat, drink and lots of fun. mr Lawrence smiled as he see this as an avenue to kill Ownet. 'I am surely going to poison him tonight,' mr Lawrence thought and grinned wickedly.

the Reverend father and his two young companion dressed up in decent attire and went to the feast with their bible. the village doctor promise them he will talk to mr Lawrence to allow them do a little preaching since almost all the villagers will be in attendance. the village doctor led them, all eyes were fixed on them as they walked to mr Lawrence house.

the usual laughter and songs welcomed Ownet, he walked straight inside and greeted mr Lawrence, pa Kenneth and the elders before going to take his seat. he while away his time by watching the people celebrating new year. 'why should I celebrate new year this way when I know that my end time is approaching every year,' Ownet thought but was disrupted when the reverend father came in, his eyes was locked up with one of the girls. the Reverend father saw him after sometime so he went to greet them after the village doctor has introduced them to almost everybody. the elders offered them drink but the Reverend declined saying they dont drink, Ownet was baffled as he sipped the drink in his cup. the Reverend began telling him on the effect of drinking and how God doesn't allows it. Ownet smiled to himself, its as if he thought of something but he didn't say it to the reverend rather he kept his cup down and suspended his drinking.
mr Lawrence stood up to address everybody then he called Ownet to come and pass the information he wanted since its exactly midnight, Ownet declined and said the Reverend should speak first. everybody became silent since he was a stranger in their midst. the Reverend stood up and greeted all of them, he only said some few things about God but everybody began laughing and many poured insult from different angle, the elders mocked him by saying ' if your God was so strong he should come and tell us by himself,'. the Reverend was forced to step down by mr Lawrence. ' with due respect sir please seat down, we are not here for that useless belief we are here to celebrate, ' our elders says only those that knows their hair is full will go to the saloon, when we don't have a problem why do we need God,'mr Lawrence quoted and signal Ownet to do his talking. immediately mr Lawrence sat down some youths released hailing songs and many people danced before the elders calmed everybody down. Ownet stood to address make his own speech but luckily he heard some whispering 'hope you are not coming to sing your usual song'. Ownet smiled and began 'well good day to everyone, I am happy to tell you that I have began reasoning like you guys. and I actually support mr Lawrence view about God. the whole villagers shouted with joy. they made a toast to the piece of information that Ownet just gave them. ownet drank the cup of wine they poured for him and he continued 'but I am very happy to introduce to you the God that you people can touch, feel, see intact he will talk to you people.,'ownet said and everybody became bemused. somebody asked ' is it the type of gods we worship or you god have finally came here.
.Ownet laughed and continued 'He is neither the kind of God you are wishing or the kind of God I used to talk about. its the other God, the new year's God.
the whole villagers look confuse even the reverend father and the young ladies with him all stared at ownet. and then a shadow started approaching them.
Ownet smiled and told them to welcome the new God.
the villagers who knew him where all shocked to see the dead brother of Ownet standing lively.
mr Lawrence fainted instantly.

PROLOGUE>
.
some centuries ago, in a primitive town, now known as abuja. their lived a twins brothers called Ownet and ozila. it was those days when education was still a future invention. nobody believed in God but they all had little gods whom they serve for protection. even at this only few people worship gods, as most people believe there is nothing called God at all. the believe you cant believe in something that you can't see,touch, feel or something that can talk or walk. this continue for many years till the twins brothers had a dream.
Right from the very day they were born, they have been having strange dreams but nobody ever give them listening ears because they were orphan and orphans were seen as semi slaves . the only difference between orphans and slave that time is that orphans can decide to stop serving his master by ppaying him the money he used to feed them all the time they stayed with him while a real slave will serve his master till he dies. Ownet and ozila stayed in the orphanage till they reached 12 which was the age limit for kids at the orphanage. they were left to fend for themselves. pa Kenneth took them in as his semi slave. they will do all the chores and run errands for him and In return he gives them daily food. this continued till the boys became adults. Ownet suggested they started farming. in no time they began gaining lots of properties and they paid pa Kenneth back. the twins were doing OK with their farm but the dreams they usually had started haunting them again and they made up their mind to do as they were told. they started preaching to people to believe in God. their own mode of preaching was different then, they preach of one true God. well it turned out that most people still don't believe in their preaching. Mr Lawrence, the village elder planned to shut the twins up by killing them but however people won't support him and to stay clean cut from trouble he decided to false a tricky accident on the twins. at first he gave the twins a contract in a distant village, while the boys were going, a truck pushed their car off the bridge.
.
That was when the brothers decided to bring their thought by inventing another God. they did the wrong thing in the write way.
