Paul strayed slightly ..trying to flirt with her..he had high hopes to get her to his bed that night
"I know a little about you"
He said
"Really?"
"Yeah. You are sexy..bright..p
assionate...
Binah cleared her throat to interrupt him
"Why not let me tell you five things about you..if am wrong you correct me"
"Hmm"
He nodded in agreement
"You lie about your religion..you pretend to be a Christian but I can tell with the little dot on your forehead..you are islamic.."
"You know a lot about women so you probably grew up with at least 3 female siblings".
Paul adjusted his siting position.
"You don't take anything serious. Especially the ladies..and you just dumped one to be with me now. I can tell because you have been bouncing your calls secretly".
"You have anger issues..seeing the way you tap your middle finger subconsciously".
"You are into fraud..since you just lost your job and you ve not figured what to do with your life"
She smiled when she noticed his facial expression..he couldn't breathe a word
"Are you for real?".
He finally choked out
"I am dear..which makes you..not my type".
She stood up nd picked her purse
"Thanks for the food..next time..I really don't fancy fried rice"
He looked over at her food and noticed she didn't touch the rice
"See you around".
He watched her leave..he was starting to think jide was right about this lady..the girl was a devil as jide described..a devil he has now gotten more interest in..
Binah knew he would come around. And she would have him where she needed him

Aduke mind kept bothering her..what Binah said kept ringing in her head..and it was tearing her apart..she really don't know her daughter..Binah was only close to her later husband..all she knew was Binah was stubborn and would go to any extreme to get what she wants
"My daughter said that to me Alice"
She explained to her close friend..when she went to her supermarket to sell for the day..fortunately Alice paid her a visit..and she opened up to Alice..she just had to tell someone about it
"That's a big word..what do you think..is she right?"
"Of course not..I know my daughter..she is very stubborn..but why would she go to this extreme to lie against my husband?"
Alice was a little disappointed at her friend..she knew quite well that if she was in Aduke's shoes, she wouldnt take the issue with light hands. And she would rather stand by her daughter's word..
"Aduke I am disappointed in you"
Aduke frowned..that was not what she was expecting..she opened up to Alice to get the support that what she did was right..but it seemed her close friend had taken her daughter's side..
"What's that supposed to mean?"
She fired back
"How can you believe your husband over your own daughter?"
"Hello..my husband loves me..and I love him very much..there is absolutely no way..no way..he would do such a devilish act..OK?
Alice was becoming angry..she stood up and paced round before she spoke back
"It is your love for this man that is blinding you from seeing the truth Aduke ..you said it yourself..why would Binah go through to that extreme to say such an heavy word if it wasn't true"
A word that brought tears from Aduke's eyes..she knew what Binah said was true.. But she didn't want to accept the fact that she failed on her duty as a mother. To admit that she failed her daughter.
But she needed to confront her husband about it..she went home. Prepared his favourite meal and waited for his arrival.
