I miss you

I miss you

Snuggled on my bed, ensconced in the warmness of my duvet,
Your thoughts kept clouding my mind.
My heart doesn't even know what it feels,
The emotions are just too much for it.
Suddenly, a known feeling lifted up my soul,
It was a feeling well-known by me,
I miss you.
You alone and no one else.
I miss our laughter, how your voice would be filled with amiability,
Sending a feeling of solace to my heart,
Attaching my soul to yours.
Now, My heart doesn't even know what it feels,
The emotions are just too much for it.
Suddenly, a known feeling lifted up my soul,
It was a feeling well-known by me,
I Miss You.
You alone and no one else.
How you would drawl my name, the uniqueness in your voice,
My name feels so sweet and perfect,
It makes me dive more into the ocean of your love.
But now, I couldn't hear that mellifluous voice,
Only the faint voices in my head,
Voices that crucifies my heart when reminisced.
Now, my heart doesn't even know what it feels,
The emotions are just too much for it.
Suddenly, a known feeling lifted up my soul,
It was a feeling well-known by me,
I Miss You.
You alone and no one else.
Reminiscing our well planned future is heart scourging.
How we envisaged our kids running around the house,
Their giggles echoing through the confines of the walls.
It brings an end to my jovial mood,
Knowing my dreams are shattered,
Future became blurred; for I couldn't see anyone in it.
I was left with only memories,
Memories that shatters my heart into tiny shards.
Now, my heart doesn't even know what it feels,
The emotions are just too much for it.
Suddenly, a known feeling lifted up my soul,
It was a feeling well-known by me,
I Miss You.
You alone and no one else.
Wipe away my tears,
Make my dreams come true,
Embellish my stodgy memories,
And fill my void rifts.
I Miss you.
