*Episode 7A
"Hmmm"
Rufus was entirely intrigued
"This company has been here for ages..of course we have the funds to expand..build wholesale stores all over the city..with retailers and customers coming to patronize and of course employ marketers to help circulate these products..thank you"
The hall went quiet for couple of minutes ..until Rufus stood up to speak
"Binah you just got promoted..you would work hand in hand with Jide to see that this comes true..
There was no argument.. It was clear he spoke the mind of all the member of the board of directors. Rufus started the applause..and so did others..except jide..
As soon as the meeting ended jide hurried after Binah and caught up with her
"Let me make it super clear to you..you can't dig your way into my company and...
"Your mean your father's company?"
Binah interrupted Jide..he couldn't find any word to defend himself.. True, It was his father's company
"Listen..stay out of my way..I stay out of yours"
She warned and walked out on him..she dare walk out on him..his father had to see reasons that this Lady is nothing but a goal digger..
He went straight to Rufus
"Dad..I can't believe you made..such, rational decision.. How could you...
"Jide don't breathe another word..ain't you ashamed of yourself?..that woman proved she is way better than you..and here you are blabbing..a simple advice son..man up..or you might lose your position in this company"
That ran a bell..Jide couldn't believe what he heard..Rufus signalled him to leave his office immediately..
Jide walked out in shame..he was about blaming himself when that strong conviction came again..if he could just prove that she was Indeed a gold digger.. His father would see reasons and must apologize

Binah got home late..she got a new office now..opposite jide's office..her plan was actually working..she has gotten the position she wanted to carry out her plans
"Babe afar..your dad called..he complained you've not been picking his calls"
Binah's mood changed instantly..Hele
n knew exactly what could spoil her mood in seconds..and mentioning her father was just one of them.. Her stepfather anyway..her biological father died long time ago
"My father Is dead"
She let down her bag and went straight into the bathroom
"Binah you should give him another chance don't...
"Helen..! Not another word!"
Binah warned.. And she was damn serious about it
Of course..Helen didn't know the whole story..all she knew was her stepfather slapped and drove her out of the house..however it was more than that..her life was pretty screwed up..

Her life was pretty screwed up..and the decisions she made is what pushed her to abandon her dreams to be an artist..and pursue "starlight ltd" Rufus's company. The company that led to the death of her father..Rufus who killed her father to obtain the land where the company stood
Dark secrets left uncovered.. Or was it her step father who took her pride from her..who deflowered her right under her mother's nose..who blackmailed and constantly slept with her to satisfy himself..
"Starlight ltd" was her starting point..jide had a reason to be suspicious because she wasn't there to play
Her step father better watch out because she was is coming for him..and Rufus ..she was going to make sure he regrets the day he set eyes on her. A lone bitter soul who was out for nothing good but vengeance. She was taught vengeance is of God..only this time she was ready to take this one into her hands....
